FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Due to an ESPN programming conflict, the kickoff time of the University of Arkansas spring football game will be moved to 3 p.m. CT on April 16. The game will be aired live nationally for the first time in school history on ESPN. Accordingly, the Razorback baseball game against Mississippi State on Saturday has been moved to 6:35 p.m. and will remain televised on CST.

The events are part of Woo Pig Spring Weekend, which is set for April 15-17. Eight University of Arkansas athletic events, including the nationally televised spring football game, a three-game conference series in baseball and softball and a women's tennis showdown are part of the weekend.

Throughout the weekend, Razorback fans will have the opportunity to see some of the University of Arkansas' most successful athletic programs compete in outstanding facilities like Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, Baum Stadium at George Cole Field, Bogle Park and the George M. Billingsley Tennis Center.

The weekend begins April 15 with baseball against Mississippi State at 7 p.m. and softball taking on South Carolina at 7 p.m. The women's tennis team begins action on April 16 when it hosts LSU at noon. Softball continues its series against the Gamecocks at noon and the spring game presented by Cox Advanced TV will begin at 3 p.m. and will be televised by ESPN. First pitch of the second baseball game against Mississippi State is set for 6:35 p.m. The weekend concludes Sunday with softball taking on South Carolina and baseball facing Mississippi State at 1 p.m.

For $35 fans can purchase the Woo Pig Spring Weekend package that includes a reserved ticket to all three baseball games ($30 value), general admission seating for all three softball games ($12 value) and exclusive access to the South Outdoor Club seating area for the spring football game.

At 3 p.m. on Saturday, the Razorback football team will conclude its spring drills with the annual spring game at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. General admission seating for the spring football game is available at no charge.
In addition to Razorback home athletic contests, Champions for Kids announces Abbott Nutrition RazorFest. The seventh annual free family event will begin outside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium with a kickoff rally at 10 a.m. and activities will continue until 2:30 p.m. The Champions for Kids event includes fun zone, games, music, mascots, giveaways and an autograph session with many Razorback greats.

Arkansas opened spring football practices on March 15, and the 2011 season begins against Missouri State on Sept. 3 at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. For season ticket information for the 2011 Razorback Football season contact the UA Ticket Office at 1-800-982-HOGS (4647).
